Essential Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • Master’s degree in a health, medical research field or related field and/or a demonstrated track record of leading the development, research, analysis, and funding requirements for complex clinical research projects
  • Extensive experience managing large-scale grants and funding, in the health context.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating high-quality policies and programs related to health and medical research.
  • Demonstrated high-level strategic thinking with the capacity to analyse and integrate information from diverse sources into actionable plans.
  • Demonstrated experience in program management and large contract negotiations

This is an ongoing, full-time, Band 2, Public Service senior executive (PSSE) role. An attractive remuneration package within the range of $300,372 to $336,526 per annum, will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
