What will you be doing:
Provide safe and compassionate woman centred care within the maternity service by ensuring care is delivered in partnership with women and their support networks, and in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and outcomes.
The role requires midwives to work 7-day rotating shifts (days, evenings and nights) across a range of clinical areas in maternity services.

Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated understanding of the NSW Health CORE Values – Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment.
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated clinical knowledge and clinical problem solving abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team.
- Demonstrated understanding of the professional, ethical and legal requirements of a registered midwife, including the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) standards for practice
- Demonstrated understanding of the role of a midwife in applying continuous improvement to quality and safety.
