Northern NSW Local Health District is located in north eastern NSW, extending from Grafton in the south, to Tweed Heads on the Queensland border, and west to Tabulam and Urbenville.  Northern NSW offers a diverse range of landscapes and lifestyles, from world-heritage listed mountain ranges, to world-renowned surfing breaks, and everything in between.

The Northern NSW Local Health District delivers a broad range of health services to our communities through our extensive and locally based networks of general and specialist services. Our staff are connected to best-practice models of clinical care throughout Australia thanks to a growing network of training opportunities and relationships with the tertiary sector including the University Centre for Rural Health, Southern Cross University, Bond University and Griffith University.

Right now, we are undertaking major building works to provide state of the art health facilities which will support our staff and clinicians to continue providing excellent care to our communities well into the future.
