Only candidates with current Australian work rights (Australian citizens, permanent residents, NZ citizens with a current passport, valid work visa) will be considered. 

Targeted questions: 

  1. Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (Ahpra) as a Registered Midwife.
  2. Provide examples of your experience and ability to practice as a midwife in the areas of antenatal, labour, birth and postnatal care, lactation, and infant feeding care.
  3. Detail your ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  4. Tell us about your recent clinical experience as a Registered Midwife. In your response include evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills.
  5. Current drivers’ licence with capacity and willingness to travel to NSW Health business and service locations throughout NSW which will include overnight stays in regional / remote areas. These deployments will make up the majority of your time in the position.

Additional Information  

  • This is an NSW Health Category A position. For more information, please refer to the NSW Health Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination Against Specified Infectious Diseases policy.
