Trainee - Unaccredited Position

1. MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia in an appropriate registration category.
2. Completed GSSE (or MRCS or equivalent). Completed/waitlisted a minimum of two RACS required courses; CCrISP, EMST/ATLS, ASSET, CLEAR
3. A professional attitude and flexibility in work role with a preparedness and ability to participate in after-hours overtime and on-call rosters.
4. Demonstrated commitment to the General Surgical Training Program (GSET) and evidence of progress towards and application.
5. Demonstrated ability to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment utilising excellent clinical skills and judgment and expertise.
6. Demonstrated teamwork, time management and problem-solving skills as part of a multidisciplinary team.
7. Interest and ability to be involve in departmental teaching/presentation/research and student mentoring.
8. A professional attitude and flexibility in work role with a preparedness and ability to participate in after-hours overtime and on-call rosters.
